At Minoa, we are building the next-generation pricing and value-selling platform for fast-growing B2B SaaS companies.

We help enterprise sales team close deals more effectively. Our tools help go-to-market teams articulate the value of their product for customers and optimize their pricing. Minoa creates an interactive space for sellers and buyers to collaborate on the deal - including building the business case, calculating ROI, defining commercial terms, and getting the deal over the line 🙌

We have raised funding and closed first customers. Minoa was founded by Max and Richard who had become frustrated with the broken pricing infrastructure and seeing sales teams being increasingly ill-equipped to deal with customers’ demands for flexibility, detailed value cases, and custom deals. We’ve built the first version of the product in 3 weeks and since raised $2.7m in pre-seed funding from a group of highly experienced investors and unicorn founders 🎉 - including 468 Capital (Mesosphere founder Florian Leibert), Mischief (Plaid founder Zach Perret), Front founder Mathilde Collin, DocSend founder Russ Heddleston, podcast host Lenny Rachitsky, and senior operators at Airbnb, Salesforce, and Amazon.

We’re growing the team. With the funding secured, we’re looking to collaborate closely with our first customers and built an A* engineering team in 📍San Francisco that can take the product to the next level. Wanna be part of it - right from the earliest days?

What you’ll be doing?

We are looking for a founding full-stack engineer 🧑‍💻 to join our team. You’ll be working up and down the Minoa product and infrastructure while partnering with founders and customers to ship features that provide value for users. As the first hire, you’ll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to co-define our product roadmap, technical architecture, as well as the engineering culture at Minoa from day 1.

What does this mean specifically? Here are a few examples of things you could be working on:

• partner with our CTO to build the product roadmap and set priorities
• engage with customers and run user interviews to deeply understand pain points from an end user perspective
• build scalable integrations into CRM systems and modern sales tool to sync data with Minoa
• develop a document automation engine that lets users create presentations with live data
• create an analytics dashboard that provides insights into the sales processes of 100s of sales reps in an organization
• deploy and test security features to keep our customers’ data safe
• design a workflow that helps users create customized ROI calculators in less than 1 minute
• help set the foundation for Minoa’s engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• mentor and lead future hires

Requirements

• [ ] You have experience building reliable B2B SaaS applications quickly with React/Redux/Typescript/Node.
• [ ] You thrive in ambiguity and know how to deeply understand customer pains so you can turn them into delightful product features.
• [ ] You are based in SF or willing to relocate (we’ll support your move).

Nice to have:

• [ ] You worked with Firebase/Google’s cloud infrastructure and multi-tenant systems before.
• [ ] You have previous startup experience.
