Position Description
X Energy is seeking experienced professionals to interview for the IT Support Specialist III position. This position is responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring, documentation and troubleshooting of all desktop computers and mobile devices. This includes workstations, monitors, printers, and other peripheral equipment. Addition responsibilities are software and application support, incident response and tracking, assets deployments and asset inventory.
  • Perform daily monitoring of the Helpdesk Ticketing System to ensure all requests are being responded to within the assigned SLA. Provide support per requests, investigate, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 & 2 technical support for system users.
  • Active Directory/Office 365 Administration - Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  • Work with Desktop Engineering team to perform system and software testing procedures.
  • You will update assigned tickets and continuously coordinate necessary work.
  • Advise management of potential risks that may have an impact on the IT environment.
  • Assist in the management of Service Desk resources for optimal performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Education/Qualifications
  • High School diploma required.
  • Five plus years in IT related experience with 2 plus years of System Administration experience.
  • Past experience providing IT support in a Windows office environment.
  • Ability to conduct research into PC and software issues and products as required.
  • Systems Administration/System Engineer equivalent certification in Microsoft highly desired.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments desired.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team as well as independently and prioritize tickets based on immediate needs.
  • Hands-on experience and a high comfort level working with all types of hardware including laptops, desktops, and printers.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly (MS Operating Systems, Office Products, and specified software associated with X-energy.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated improved customer service skills.

Work Site Expectations: Onsite (some remote work may be available in the future)
Travel Expectations: 10%
Status: Full-time, Exempt

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
