Job Description

Objective

The Remarketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the remarketing efforts within Wheel's UVM/Remarketing department.

Please note that this description is not all-encompassing as other ad hoc tasks are expected of the position.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for taking incoming calls to the Remarketing phone lines and assisting team members in the resolution of dealer, auction, client requests and management requests.
  • Reviews the current outstanding auction inventory and resolves issues regarding vehicles assigned to auction and not secured within 7 business days by contacting auctions, dealers and drivers to locate

inventory.

  • Ensure accurate and timely follow-up with auctions for sale proceeds and settlement documents on sold vehicles.
  • Accurately process auction settlements by each month's billing close.
  • Imaging of remarketing documents and items of record.
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

Other Duties

  • Cross training in other areas' administrative and support functions within Remarketing, and other Operations Departments, in order to assist team members during peak times and unforeseen

personnel absences.

  • Assists Managers with projects and special assignments, as requested.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications

Leadership Responsibility: This position has no leadership responsibilities.

Work Environment: Flex Role - This position is in Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.

Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a Full-time position and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of High School Diploma.
  • Previous work experience in a corporate or office setting including working with computers; prior customer service related or automotive experience preferred.
  • Experience in handling large volumes of work.
  • Computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Must possess good telephone etiquette and typing skills.
