Role Description: Senior Product Manager
Role Purpose:
Wasabi Technologies is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management team. The selected candidate will manage Wasabi's current product lineup and develop new offerings to support our rapid growth trajectory. The role requests effective coordination with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure our products are well-positioned to drive customer adoption and satisfaction.
We are in search of a candidate who exemplifies teamwork, can adapt to various roles as needed, and flourishes in a high-energy setting. A fervent desire for continuous learning, coupled with the ability to assimilate new technologies quickly, is vital. The successful candidate will also demonstrate flexibility, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Partner & Product Management. It will directly impact Wasabi’s tactical and strategic goals related to partnerships and product development.

Responsibilities:
- Uncover and understand customer needs, translating them into actionable requirements.
- Research and follow technical industry trends; evaluate emerging products and technologies for potential value or risk; and make investment recommendations.
- Monitor competitors and periodically conduct capability analysis.
- Provide training and support for internal teams and customers on product usage and capabilities.
- Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert, coordinating beta tests, defining success criteria, and maintaining product documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in the software industry, focusing on SaaS products, with a successful track record of launching and managing products.
- Technical knowledge and experience with cloud technologies and architectures (e.g., S3, HTTP(S), TLS, DNS, TCP, UDP).
- Deep understanding of unstructured and structured data storage, including knowledge of storage protocols like NFS, SMB, and iSCSI.
- Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
