Role Description: Audit Support DevOps – OPS.
Role Purpose:
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of our IT infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes (K8s) security, Change Configuration Management, and maintaining a comprehensive Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Responsibilities:

  • Required: Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters, covering RBAC, network policies, and pod security policies.
  • Required: Conduct regular security assessments and audits of Kubernetes environments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and enforce K8s security policies and incident response plans.
  • Stay informed about K8s security trends, applying relevant updates and patches for a secure K8s environment.
  • Establish and maintain Change Configuration Management processes for controlled IT infrastructure changes.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive CMDB, tracking hardware, software, and network assets.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather and update configuration data in the CMDB for accuracy and completeness.
  • Required: Identify, assess, and prioritize security patches for servers, planning and executing deployment strategies.
  • Monitor patch deployment, verify successful implementation, and troubleshoot server patching issues.
  • Required: Ensure IT infrastructure compliance with industry standards (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, ISO27001).
  • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in IT operations with a strong focus on Kubernetes security, Change Configuration Management, CMDB or Database management, server patch management, and compliance activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes security practices, including RBAC, network policies, and pod security policies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, ISO27001, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., Kubernetes Security Specialist, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
