Role Description: Surveillance Solution Architect – United States
Role Purpose:
We seek a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Surveillance Solution Architect. In this role, you will assist customers and partners in designing and implementing robust video surveillance solutions utilizing the Wasabi product line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales engineering, or solution architecture, focusing on video surveillance systems and cloud storage.

- Engage other Wasabi engineers worldwide to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot our services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement video surveillance solutions leveraging the full Wasabi product suite.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Present solutions to customers and partners, showcasing technical capabilities and benefits.
  • Understand and work with reseller/channel business models.
  • Handle multiple activities and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Thrive in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment, achieving stretch goals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a support engineering, sales engineering, or solution architecture role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of public cloud services (i.e., Wasabi, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Demonstrated experience with protocols such as S3, TCP, UDP, SSL RSTP, etc.
  • Experience presenting to customers & partners.
  • Extensive experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) surveillance solutions. Including: Milestone, Avigilon, Hanwha, Genetec, Axis.
  • Knowledge of video analytics and AI integration for enhanced surveillance capabilities.
  • Proficient in configuring and optimizing video encoding, decoding, and streaming protocols.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for securing video surveillance systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve video quality, latency, and system performance issues.
  • Experience in integrating video surveillance solutions with other security systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements for video surveillance.
  • Experienced in task automation development/scripting (Windows / Linux).
