Role Description: Inside Sales Associate - Australia/New Zealand
Role Purpose:
Join Wasabi's Inside Sales Team and be part of a dynamic, high-impact role that combines the thrill of the hunt with the satisfaction of driving business success. As an Inside Sales Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in our journey to deliver cutting-edge hot storage solutions to new clients and capitalize on small business opportunities.
Your Mission:
Hunting & Closing: Be the driving force behind our expansion, seeking out and connecting with new prospects, and masterfully closing deals for small businesses.
Uncover Needs: Dive deep into the storage requirements and timelines of potential clients, guiding them towards free trials or Sales qualified appointments.
Balanced Approach: Spend 80% of your time managing and sealing the deal with SMB customers while dedicating 20% to unearth new opportunities and qualify them for our Channel Account Team.
Relationship Building: You're not just a salesperson; you're a relationship builder. Foster strong customer connections, ensuring their satisfaction, retention, and expansion with Wasabi.
Responsibilities:
- Warm Leads: Respond to inbound leads with warmth and expertise, both through email and phone, ensuring that every interaction is exceptional.
- Target Markets: Reach out to promising leads in specified markets, armed with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact.
- End-to-End Mastery: Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to the final close, as you champion small business opportunities.
- Generating Momentum: Fuel our sales teams by generating free-trial accounts and qualified appointments, setting the stage for success.
- Drive Growth: Encourage our clients to expand their cloud storage usage, making their business operations even more efficient.
- Data-Driven: Maintain meticulous records in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Database, contributing to our collective understanding of our clients and their evolving needs.
Requirements:
- Seasoned Sales: You bring a proven track record of 3+ years in technology inside sales, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
- Storage Savvy: While not mandatory, a background in storage and backup is a definite plus, showcasing your deep understanding of our industry.
- Startup Spirit: You thrive on the exhilarating challenge of working in a startup environment, where innovation and adaptability are key.
