Property Management Onboarder: Cross Country Travel

Job Title: Cross-Country Property Manager

** US Resident

** 20 days of travel a month

Position Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cross-Country Travel: Travel extensively to various locations to onboard vendors and set up new properties.

  2. Vendor Onboarding:

    • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for various property-related services, including cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, and more.

    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.

    • Train routine contractors on protocols and procedures all relative to Wander standard.

  3. Property Set-up:

    • Coordinate and oversee the setup of new properties, ensuring they meet company standards and guest expectations.

    • Manage the procurement of necessary furnishings, decor, and amenities. Inventory specialist.

  4. Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Foster positive and collaborative relationships with vendors to ensure prompt and high-quality service delivery.

    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to vendors.

  5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all properties meet legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, permits, and licensing.

    • Assess all utilities associated with the home and ensure operational efficiency

    • Oversee setup of preventative maintenance plans and contracts

  6. Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage budgets for property setup and ongoing operational expenses.

    • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

  7. Communication and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless property integration and guest satisfaction.

    • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and property owners to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt to new environments and travel frequently.

  • Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards (preferred).
