Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company and we provide the system of record for event marketing. Our software platform provides proprietary insights that helps high-growth companies find the highest ROI events, conferences and trade shows to attend and sponsor. We have built an AI-powered platform that customers describe as an event marketer’s dream.

Vendelux was founded in 2021, and our recent $14 million Series A was led by FirstMark, whose portfolio includes companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Discord, Airbnb, Draft Kings, Carta and Justworks (amongst others). Our leadership team includes alumni from Shutterstock, Bain, Google, IBM and Compass.

Now we are adding a Team Lead, Sales to help us scale our GTM operation. The ideal candidate has hired, trained and managed a small team of Account Executives at a Series A - C startup and knows how to scale revenue for a high growth SaaS business.

This is a player coach role, expected to carry their own quota while also managing part of our Account Executive team. This is a new position and reports to our Global Head of New Business and will be an onsite role based out of our NYC HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team and by assessing the teams’ strengths and weaknesses

  • Be a player-coach, when starting, by closing their own deals to achieve proficiency with the product and the industry

  • Hire, train and manage team of 3-6 Account Executives to become consistent closers

  • Shadow Account Executives to provide specific mentoring

  • Forecast revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Partner with the Client Success team to make sure that new clients are set up for success and there is an ongoing feedback loop

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales role closing new business

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in managing Account Executives, including hiring and training

  • Experience working in a high growth SaaS startup and in mid-market/commercial sales

  • Experience with both US and European markets

  • Likes a fast paced environment and is a quick learner
