About the Role

We are hiring an Installation Operations Associate to join our team! The Installation Operations Associate manages, oversees, and supports residential electrification work at scale. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth project coordination, from scoping and permitting through to installation and final inspections. This associate will work cross-functionally with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to improve workflows, reduce errors, and ensure first-time installation success.

Responsibilities

The Installation Operations Associate will:

• Support the scoping, coordination, and execution of residential electrification projects.
• Respond to and resolve permitting and utility inquiries and project amendment requests to ensure local code and utility compliance and coordination.
• Streamline project delivery workflows, reduce errors, and improve plan set and scoping efficiency using data-driven insights.
• Ensure installation preparedness by confirming that all sold projects comply with internal standard operating procedures and are planned with sufficient detail for first-time installation success.
• Communicate installation expectations, technical details, and project updates to internal teams, contractors, and customers.
• Assist in identifying areas for program improvement and in crafting and refining standard operating procedures to drive continuous improvement and team efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful Installation Operations Associate candidates will demonstrate:

• Two or more years of experience in installer support, project management, and/or electrical service fulfillment
• Two or more years of academic and/or professional experience in engineering, a skilled trade, or construction project management
• Experience deploying systems and software to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
• Experience in CRM systems and workflow solutions that directly impact employee and customer experiences such as Notion, HubSpot, Zapier, Zuper, Retool, or similar operational tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Additionally, successful Installation Operations Associate candidates may demonstrate:

• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty
• Experience with data analysis, tracking KPIs, and using insights to optimize operations is a plus
• A passion for electrification and/or energy sustainability
• Ability to work cross-functionally, bringing together multiple teams to drive towards a common goal coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical details clearly to a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-past, early-stage company environment

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate of what Treehouse may pay for a new hire; actual pay may vary based on prevailing wages in geographic location and a candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required job qualifications.
