Reporting directly to the Fulfillment Center Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating production and fulfillment operations, ensuring that our direct-to-consumer quality products are prepared for delivery to our customers.

This role is 100% onsite in our Long Beach, CA, fulfillment facility.

How you'll make a difference:

Supervise, train, and coach the production team regarding attendance and productivity performance, ensuring successful production operations
Coordinate required staff and schedules for production activities accounting for callouts, emergencies, etc. as they come up
Reinforce structure for the team by helping to identify and establish new SOP’s and key metrics to evaluate team performance
Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to recruit and train additions to the team with a focus on retention
Be very hands-on and willing to “get your hands dirty” working alongside the team, and prioritizing tight deadlines
Partner with management and People Operations to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies related to labor laws including wages, hours, and working conditions
Perform consistent production area audits and conduct regular shift meetings to ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and safety

Who you are:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
College degree preferred
2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or production with at least 2+ years of supervisory experience required; food manufacturing experience preferred
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and managing facilities maintenance; basic skills to make emergency repairs
Solid working knowledge of OSHA and organizational compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be a team player with an interest in continuously learning leadership development skills
A dynamic personality with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, maintaining grace under pressure
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities
Ability to successfully meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail, quality of service and product, and our company mission and values
Proficiency with tech platforms including, but not limited to Onfleet, G-suite, and Slack
