Job Summary:
The Quality Control Administrative Assistant is responsible for accurate production and inventory reporting, generation of Quality Control certificates, and coordinating communications between customer service employees and lab personnel. This position is to help ensure that all departments have administrative support, the departments that this position will support, but are not limited to, Quality Control Manager; Lab Support; Shipping Support, Materials Management, Engineering/Technical, etc. to ensure that all departments run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile daily inventory adjustments
- Generate and ensure the accuracy of Quality Control Certificates.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials
- Determine lead time for all required materials to keep inventory of needed items in the facility
- Order tools and other items for quality control
- Order office supplies and PPE
- Update standard operating procedures documentation
- Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a quality control/manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years’ experience in data entry
- A/P, A/R or some accounting experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization; ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word required; SAP or other ERP knowledge preferred
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma / GED, required
- Quality Control/Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Accounting/Finance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
