What The Role Is

The Accounting Manager is the key finance source for the C-Suite and will report directly to the CFO. This role will require accurate finance control and will certainly develop your business acumen, working directly with a highly experienced C-level team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Preparation of month-end reporting pack for external accounting service providers
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts and credit cards monthly
  • First line of contact for external accounting and tax specialists
  • Maintain updated financial and cash-flow models
  • Together with the CFO develop increasingly more complex financial modelling
  • Cash flow management and control tax payments and credit receipts
  • Ensure payments are made and received in accordance with contracts
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

What You Need For The Role

  • 2+ years working in a Finance Team with similar responsibilities
  • University or college courses in accounting
  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with Datev a plus but not essential
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
