In this Product Manager II role, you’ll be an integral part of Stavvy’s integration into new verticals. As a partner to Engineering, you’ll have an opportunity to be a squad leader from a Product Management perspective and develop your leadership skills.
What You'll Do
- Build empathy for our customers and become an advocate for their needs
- Manage the full product development cycle for targeted initiatives
- Define product user stories and acceptance criteria to support engineering in providing estimates and build on
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering in finding the best solution for our customers taking into account product and engineering constraints
- Break down user stories into the minimal marketable product based on internal and external requirements
- Collaborate with a variety of business stakeholders including customer success, customer support and sales on product priorities
- Plan bi-weekly sprints and ensure JIRA is reflective of active development
- Closely measure results, and use data analysis to drive future iteration
- Research to stay informed about competitor products and industry trends
- Perform user acceptance testing against products that we are building
Who You Are
- A detail-oriented and creative problem solver with 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Product experience in the mortgage industry is preferred
- Effective communicator with strong storytelling abilities and collaboration skills
- Proven track record of success with shipping products, but also with failure (people make mistakes so we want someone who knows how to pick up the pieces and move forward)
- Experienced using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Compensation Education
- Stavvy is committed to competitive and equitable pay for all Stavviators. The listed pay range for this role is a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including an individual’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
- The Boston based range for this full time position is $120,000 - $150,000
