In this Senior Product Manager role, you’ll be an integral part of solving some of the highest priority initiatives for Stavvy. As a partner to Engineering, Design and UX Research you’ll have an opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and strategic vision from a Product Management perspective.

What You'll Do

  • Build empathy for our customers and become an advocate for their needs
  • Manage the full product development cycle from ideation to distribution overseeing a product with multiple features and functions
  • Develop the Roadmap, Vision, Definition, Design and Delivery of a complex product
  • Collaborate with Design, UX Research and Engineering in finding the best solution for our customers, taking into account product and engineering constraints
  • Regularly communicate with internal key stakeholders on upcoming features and functions (Product Marketing, Sales, Billing, Legal and Customer Success)
  • Define product user stories and acceptance criteria to support engineering in providing estimates and build on
  • Break down user stories into the minimal marketable product based on internal and external requirements
  • Plan bi-weekly sprints and ensure JIRA is reflective of active development
  • Perform user acceptance testing against products that we are building
  • Closely measure results and use data analysis to drive future iteration
  • Research to stay informed about competitor products and industry trends
  • This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Management

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, including at least 2+ years as a Senior Product Manager
  • Experienced in building and launching technical products through collaboration with design, research and engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out the proposed solution in a well-structured, data-informed and written narrative
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business and involve stakeholder groups during the discovery process - Product Marketing, Sales, Billing, Legal and Customer Success
  • Passionate about mentoring more junior Product Managers
  • A detail-oriented and creative problem solver
  • Effective communicator with strong storytelling abilities and collaboration skills
  • Experienced using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Proven track record of success with shipping products
  • Mortgage industry experience required
