Position Summary

Sparkfund is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to the CEO, CFO, President, and Chief Revenue Officer. This role will play a key part in managing the priorities and workflows of the executive team, ensuring efficiency in operations, and supporting company-wide initiatives—particularly within the Distributed Capacity Procurement (DCP) programs and the management of Sparkfund’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and drive projects to completion. They will act as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders, while also providing logistical and administrative support for the company's DCP efforts and HQ operations.

Location

This role is based in Washington, D.C., supporting the Sparkfund headquarters and DCP program operations. While Sparkfund is a remote-first company, this role will require regular in-office presence and coordination. Occasional travel may be necessary for company-wide meetings, utility partner engagements, and DCP program support.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support (CEO, CFO, President, CRO)

  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, and travel logistics for the executive team.
  • Handle confidential correspondence and communications on behalf of executives.
  • Assist with board meetings, investor relations, and financial reporting preparations.
  • Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and documents for internal and external use.
  • Track and prioritize executive action items, ensuring deadlines are met.

Operations & Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive scheduling and administrative needs.
  • Support cross-functional coordination between leadership, business units, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage executive expense reporting, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
  • Oversee office management at Sparkfund’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, ensuring a productive workplace environment.

DCP & HQ Support

  • Coordinate DCP-related administrative and logistical needs for the executive team.
  • Support DCP project deployment scheduling, compliance tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage meeting logistics for utility and partner engagements.
  • Oversee office facilities and operational functions, including security, technology, and supplies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in an operations/coordination role supporting C-level executives.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, ideally in energy, finance, or technology sectors.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and project management tools (Asana, Trello, or similar).
  • Strong calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid/office environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting executives in an energy, finance, or technology company.
  • Familiarity with utility partnerships, regulatory compliance, or grid modernization initiatives.
  • Experience managing office operations, vendor relationships, and workplace logistics.
