We’re looking to hire a Customer Engineer to help solve some of the most difficult problems facing our customers. As a Customer Engineer, you’ll interact directly with our customers through support tickets and Slack messages, helping them troubleshoot their issues and be successful with Beam.
You’ll be responsible for helping customer with fast, articulate, and thoughtful feedback on their projects. You’ll help us build an internal knowledge base to help customers with common issues, bring high-level issues into our product roadmap, and you’ll be crucial to the success of our product.

What You Need to Succeed
- Located in (or will relocate to) New York City and excited about working in-person
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- An interest in tinkering with the product
- Comfortable writing Python
- Familiarity with ML, LLMs, and the fast-growing Generative AI landscape
What You’ll Work On
- Work directly with customers, solving their most complex problems and providing ownership and education on the use of our platforms
- Be among the foremost experts on everything related to Beam. You are the last line of defense before our Engineering team.
- Partner with engineering to resolve issues quickly
- Take learnings from resolving customer issues and figure out how to operationalize those solutions at scale, with Engineering and our CEO
