This position ensures timely and accurate work order completion ultimately resulting in the recognition of available sellable product. This role is also responsible for the management and reconciliation of critical feedstock balances. Finally, this position is responsible to develop and oversee Master Data Management (MDM) processes and corresponding practices and implementations.
The Master Planning Manager works cross-functionally within Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality to support the various daily scheduling and batch execution activities to allow for more efficiency and better output at the direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create work orders with the appropriate amounts and due dates, and with the appropriate lead time, in order to meet production and customer demand
- Communicate production plans and work orders effectively ensuring alignment amongst the organization
- Monitors available capacity as well as weekly customer demand to ensure production plans are accurate
- Oversee, manage, and schedule all customer orders to production floor as individual dispenses from weekly bulk product
- Ensures all preparatory materials are built and recognized at the subassembly level.
- Manages outsourced builds with key suppliers ensuring on time performance
- Identify inventory shortages or schedule breaks that prevent ready-to-build status or timely completion of work orders and develop effective responses to such shortages
- Assist in timely and accurate work order transaction reporting and closure to contribute to the organizations cost structure recognition process
- Review item master data, including but not limited to bills of materials, lead times, and days of supply, to ensure proper handling of supply and demand by the ERP and planning process
- Establish and maintain an overall MDM program with initial focus on defining and enforcing policies and procedures for managing master data including data quality and data integrity
- Manage Therapeutics ERP master data ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency through defined data structure and configuration
- Facilitates resolution of issues by arranging and participating in conferences between suppliers and cross-functional company personnel
- Able to perform the above duties and tasks in relation to project timelines with crucial delivery dates
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or years of experience preferred
- A minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of related work experience
- Knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in a team environment and to take directions as well as think independently
- Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- The right candidate will be comfortable with accountability and deadlines as they support/own the project timeline
Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls.
