Job brief

As image processing engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance of our image processing algorithms. These algorithms are used to detect codes in real-time in video streams, to estimate print quality and scan quality, and to provide feedback to the user. They run on multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, Web video, and even on PCs.

The position is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

What You’ll Do
Develop, improve and maintain the scanning algorithms used to authenticate products and QR Codes as well as other barcode symbologies
Develop on our Inline vision system together with industrial cameras
Implement image processing functionalities for our quality control apps, including algorithms to measure print quality
Implement algorithms to analyze in real-time codes that are embedded in images
Develop processes for the automated large scale collection of scans, that can be used for continuous improvement of our algorithms

Requirements

1.At least 5 years of experience developing image or video processing algorithms
2.Master in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field; PhD degree is a plus
3.Proficient in English with practical experience as an image processing or computer vision engineer
4.Specific experience on working with problems involving images and/or video
5.Proficiency in C++, and python
6.Deep knowledge of OpenCV
7.Image processing and computer vision general knowledge
8.Experience with CI/CD tools
9.Experience with Cross compiling
10.Experience with using deep learning and super resolution techniques is a plus
11.Experience developing apps for Android and/or IOS is a plus
12.Experience working with industrial vision systems is a plus
13.Experience working on machine learning is a plus
