About the Role:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for developing and managing programs that improve employee engagement, performance, satisfaction, and retention. This position reports to the Head of People.
Responsibilities:
- Advises management on employee engagement, performance, satisfaction, and retention strategies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Works to understand pain points and hidden issues, and proactively develops potential solutions for employees and managers.
- Partners on company performance process (quarterly calibrations, promotions, 360 feedback, annual reviews). Works closely with managers and employees on all aspects of performance management.
- Manages employee engagement survey. Analyzes the results with trends and metrics and works with the People Team and management to develop solutions, programs, and goals for improvement.
- Partners with the Head of People to develop and implement Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs and initiatives.
- Creates and maintains clear and effective employee policies. Develops and maintains the employee handbook and other employee-oriented materials.
- Ensures compliance with 20+ state laws, including leaves and other employment regulations.
- Communicates effectively with employees, managers, department heads, and leaders.
- Develops, maintains, and improves employee processes to achieve greater efficiencies and performance. Responsible for maintaining the HRIS software system and other employee related processes and systems.
- Coaches HR team members to create streamlined processes and strong support for initiatives.
- Partners proactively with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration and to support employee communications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
About You:
You may be the right person if you have:
- 5+ years of relevant HR experience supporting teams across an organization
- Results oriented and self-starter who thrives in a fast-pace environment
- You thrive on autonomy, move fast, and can balance multiple priorities at the same time
- Knowledge of employment laws, state laws and immigration with the interest to stay current
- Strategic thinker with experience in creating and implementing HR strategies/programs
- Demonstrated experience building effective partnerships and collaborative stakeholder relationships
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for all things people with a customer service and empathetic approach
Education and Experience:
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or has obtain several certification oursite of SHRM Certification
- Strong evidence of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation:
$80,000 to $100,000 Base Salary
