Job Summary:

As the Scheduler (CAM) at Phase Four, you will be an integral piece of the team, working directly with the Programs and Engineering teams to ensure Phase Four is working efficiently within budgets and schedules. The ideal candidate is familiar with strategic optimization, and has a demonstrated ability to think critically and clearly within sometimes ambiguous environments. This role requires candidate to be on-site at our Hawthorne, CA, location.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work hand in hand with the Program Manager to develop, maintain and present status on Program schedules, adhering to or adjusting the information on the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and making changes where necessary. Present necessary findings budget, schedule, and technical needs during regularly scheduled Program meetings.
  • Work cross-collaboratively with Engineering on critical path, CEI, BEI), Production, and Business teams to ensure all parties are on track and with budget, schedule, and technical needs for deliverables per program.
  • Track Program progress, identify potential delays or other relevant issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Identify risk analysis and mitigation opportunities and present findings back to Program Manager and other relevant team members, identify and present solutions alongside relevant team(s).
  • Work with Program and Business teams to create and present schedules, program budget forecasts, and updates for applicable stakeholders.
  • Work with Program Manager to make changes based on deliverable schedule, budget, and program/project scope, always driving forward efficiency.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of working experience OR an Associate's degree or 5+ years of working experience
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager or Scheduler.
  • Experience with managing an IMS; Experience and knowledge of EVMS practices (CPI, SPI, TCPI, IEAC).
  • Experience with implementing plans, identifying risk/opportunities, and comfortability with making correction actions in terms of costs and schedule.
  • Experience with or apt ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Box, and additional similar software.
  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred, but not required.

Salary Range:

  • $80,000.00-100,000.00 Annually

Our Interview Process:

We understand that interviewing is an art that takes time on both sides of the spectrum. Phase Four's interview process is as follows:

  1. Phone Interview with our Recruiting Team - 15-30 minutes - Where we learn about you, your experience, and what you're looking for in a new role, as well as give you a chance to learn about us, the role, and any questions you may have. If progressing to next step;
  2. Video Interview with the Hiring Manager - 30 minutes - This interview reviews the technical aspects of the role as well as your technical background. This is a great time for both you and the hiring manager to get more in depth about the expectations and technical mindset needed for the role. If progressing to next step;
  3. 'Challenge Question' + In-Person Interview - 90-120 minutes - You will be given a technical question to work through that relates to the role to present during the In-Person interview at our office. Also during this time, you'll get to meet our team, tour our facility, and see what we do at Phase Four! If progressing to next step;
  4. Offer Stage!
