About The Role (What you will get to do)
As an IT and Application Support Associate, you will be at the forefront of how technology is used across our company. Your primary responsibility is to be the first responder to support internal employees with their business applications and computer hardware. You will work with the rest of the IT and Security teams to develop plans for software upgrades and manage the rollouts across the organization using mobile device management tools. You will have the opportunity to work with people across the organization and around the globe.
Responsibilities (What we expect)
- Be the first responder to investigate and resolve IT support requests and escalate unresolved issues as appropriate.
- Manage deployment and maintenance of Persefoni’s applications and devices using mobile device management solutions (Jamf and Intune).
- Create support documentation for Persefoni’s internal business application suite.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of standards and best practices for responding to IT support requests.
- Manage ticket submission, tracking, and reporting via Persefoni’s ticket management system.
- Deploy and maintain IT assets (Dell Windows PCs and Apple Macbooks)
- Assist with enforcing security methods including VPN, authentication, and MFA using Cloudflare, Okta Verify, and other systems.
- Manage application access via single sign-on platform and other systems including Okta and Auth0.
Qualifications (What you bring to the role)
- 2 or more years of experience in IT customer support or help desk related functions.
- Experience with maintenance or administration of Windows and macOS workstations.
- Experience managing ticket creation, updates, and resolution via a ticket management platform, such as Jira, Zendesk, or ServiceNow.
- Ability to professionally and succinctly present IT issues or risks to members of management or senior leadership.
- Comfortable communicating with people at all levels across the company and around the globe.
- Good oral and written communication skills, including experience writing direction, instructions and announcements for end users.
How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track
- Within your first two weeks, you will have an initial understanding of key applications in Persefoni’s internal business application portfolio. You will shadow the existing IT team during new user onboarding and other IT support activities for the organization.
- Within your first four weeks, you will begin supporting a subset of Persefoni’s technology and internal business applications, including researching workstation issues, assisting users with workstations and applications, and troubleshooting or researching issues for specific applications.
- Within your first three months, you will be conducting new user onboarding, evaluating new or replacement applications to support the organization, and owning the administration of three to five internal business applications. Additionally, you will be involved in tracking Persefoni’s hardware assets, including user workstations (Windows and macOS), and supporting peripherals.
Job Type:
Full-time position located in Vietnam governed by Vietnam labour regulations, with the Persefoni entity being established in Vietnam.
