Job Summary:
The Procurement Operations Analyst will focus on streamlining and managing day-to-day procurement and legal processes to ensure operational excellence. This role involves supporting the procurement and legal teams with accurate data management, timely order processing, vendor coordination, and compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Procurement Process Management:
• Assist with Jira ticket/requisition management. I.e; expedite tickets, manage ticket priority, and the ticket close process.
• Support stakeholders, Jira ticket liaisons, and Jira ticket approvers when needed during the ticket creation and approval process.
• Responsible for training Jira ticket liaisons.
• Create new and enhance existing Jira training documentation and videos.
Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain and update procurement records; entering supplier contracts in the repository and asset management tool.
• Create and maintain procurement-related reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track and improve performance.
• Maintain the procurement cost savings tracker.
• Create and maintain supplier contact book.
• Generate and publish monthly procurement projects reports to business stakeholders.
• Support the team with insights into operational trends and areas for improvement, specifically with creation and improvement of the dashboard.
• Support the procurement and legal teams on tool administration: Jira, Airbase, Productiv, CLM tool.
Procurement Analytics:
• Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret procurement data to support decision-making and optimize purchasing activities.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, potential suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
Process Improvement:
• Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and propose enhancements.
• Assist in the implementation of new procurement tools or systems to streamline operations.
• Work closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, and legal to align procurement activities with company objectives.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Certifications in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
Experience: Entry level to 4 years of experience in procurement operations or related roles.
Skills
- Proficiency in the procure to pay process. Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Coupa a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
