Nest Genomics is transforming how healthcare systems integrate genomics into everyday care. Our platform delivers a turnkey solution for health organizations to implement genomic-based programs, from patient intake to long term management. Nest is already commercial in major health systems and dozens of clinics across the country, and we’re just getting started.
We are looking for our first Senior Sales Executive to join the team and work closely with our CEO to expand our footprint in health systems and clinics nationwide. This is a hands-on role with a unique opportunity to not only drive Nest’s growth but also play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial organization of a fast-growing company at the forefront of precision medicine. As our first sales hire, you’ll be directly involved in every step of the sales process—from prospecting to closing deals—while building the foundation for future commercial success.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Develop and grow business relationships with health systems, academic institutions, and clinics to drive adoption of Nest’s platform.
- Collaborate with the CEO to create and execute sales strategies that expand Nest’s presence in the U.S. healthcare market.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, to articulate Nest’s value proposition and close complex enterprise deals.
- Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing how Nest streamlines genomic workflows, improves patient outcomes, and reduces provider burden.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract execution.
- Actively contribute to strategic planning, providing accurate sales forecasts and insights based on market analysis.
- Partner with internal teams, including product and marketing, to ensure customer feedback informs product development.
- Represent Nest at industry conferences and events to build brand awareness and establish connections within the healthcare community.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 10+ years of experience selling enterprise software to health systems, clinics, or related organizations.
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market.
- Experience engaging with C-suite executives and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, including EMR integration and clinical decision support.
- Knowledge of the genomics space is a plus, but not required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-making.
- Highly collaborative, proactive, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A hands-on attitude and the ability to dive into the details of prospecting, deal negotiations, and relationship building.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
This role includes a competitive base salary complemented by a performance-based sales commission structure.
