Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure product quality.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Review product requirements and create a comprehensive test plan.

- Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

- Collaborate with developers and SDETs to identify and resolve defects.

- Lead and mentor QA team members.

- Work with cross-functional teams to meet quality standards.

- Participate in quality management systems development and implementation.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and recommendations.

- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

- 4-8 years of experience in test planning, building test suites, and executing test cases.

- Proficiency in web fundamentals, database systems, and distributed systems.

- Experience in backend testing, debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis.

- Understanding and experience in QA processes and various types of testing.

- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming languages and design.

- Experience with test automation frameworks.

- Familiarity with NodeJs, Python, or Golang is a strong advantage.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to take ownership and maintain high quality standards.

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of data analytics and big data technologies (such as Kafka, Hadoop, Spark) is beneficial.

Experience with stateful streaming systems is advantageous.
