Motorq - Enterprise Account Executive

Motorq is a connected car data and analytics software platform that is creating game-changing value for customers looking for insights from vehicle data. We are the leading API and machine learning analytics company for embedded OEM connected car data and have built deep partnerships with automotive manufacturers.

We have many of the country’s largest fleets as enterprise customers and are processing more than 1 million trip miles and 150 million data points per day. The Motorq leadership team has interdisciplinary experience in automotive engineering, full-stack software engineering, data science, and SaaS startups.

We are headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in Chennai and Seattle. We have successfully raised a $40M Series-B venture round in 2022 and are part of the Stanford StartX community.

Our long term vision is to expand the use of connected car data globally into industries such as insurance, mobile payments, autonomous vehicles and consumer applications via a convenient API-based connectivity platform.

About The Role

Motorq is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our business development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the strategic plan for relationships with our most important external partners while also looking to generate new business opportunities. You will work closely with our partners to develop and deliver the successful implementation of our growth strategies. You'll also be responsible for executing complex, high-impact initiatives, including those that are first of their kind.

Competitive salary and equity package — Salary will be between $125,000 and $150,000 ($250,000 - $300,000 OTE)

What You'll Do

  • Manage Motorq’s strategic partnerships and book of business; define and execute a strategy to deepen Motorq’s relationships with such partners
  • Identify and execute complex deals that support Motorq’s strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with product leads to understanding key terms and transition from deal negotiation to implementation to long-term management and optimization
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in crafting thoughtful strategies for engaging and partnering with our clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure Motorq stakeholders are aligned with the strategy you develop, work with Motorq leadership to transform top company goals into partnership strategies, and influence company-wide decisions that affect the direction of products, processes, or the betterment of Motorq overall
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate post-deal implementation/integration plans are put in place in the course of the deal process
  • Understand our partners’ strategic priorities, challenges, and internal roadmaps; regularly communicate insights and strategic recommendations to Motorq product stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market Partnerships, Product Marketing) to identify and implement growth opportunities

What We're Seeking

  • 8+ years of full sales cycle experience experience
  • Past experience within the SaaS Industry
  • Cultivating and building relationships is something that excites you
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Passion for doing whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes
  • An entrepreneurial mindset that balances creative problem solving with the desire to run through walls to deliver and own outcomes
  • Juggle a mix of large and small projects, often with overlapping priority and urgency
