Skills that set you apart:
- Strong finance leadership experience, preferably in a tech startup or investment banking.
- A strong academic background in Accounting or Finance, CPA/CA is a plus.
- Expertise in FP&A, and producing reports for management, board members and investors.
- Experience managing external financial services and audits.
- Exceptional communication skills and a talent for building relationships, internally and externally.
- Ability to switch between a strategic and hands-on approach to finance as we scale.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading our finance function, shaping our financial strategies and operations.
- Engaging in financial modelling to guide budgeting, cash flow, and strategic decisions.
- Collaborating with People function and team leaders to plan hiring budgets.
- Working with the data team to capture and calculate MRR accurately.
- Approving financial controls, invoices, payroll, and managing accounts payable.
- Managing external financial relationships, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
- Direct audit preparations, develop data dashboards, and enhance financial controls.
