Finance Manager/Sr Manager (DTC & Omnichannel)

*This is a remote position with up to 25% travel required. Travel will include trips to our San Francisco headquarters, Hair Color Bar hubs across the country, and other events.*

The Finance Manager for Madison Reed will provide thought leadership and partnership to the DTC business as well as enable a performance view of MR’s Omnichannel strategy. The Finance Manager will be focused on being a trusted business partner to the business, while having the unique opportunity for meaningful exposure to senior executives, new business initiatives, and everything in between.

What you will do:

  • Own and maintain DTC revenue model and KPI reporting, as well as develop new tools in anticipation of business growth.
  • Drive an operational understanding of the Omnichannel performance at MR. Innovate measurement framework that highlights the power of an Omni brand within a specific DMA. Partner with FPA leadership and CFO to craft a story for external audiences.
  • Partner with Sr Director of FPA and key stakeholders to produce the annual budget, 3-year strategic plan, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Support acquisition and retention efforts, working with business leaders to develop metrics and maintain models.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with senior leadership.
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of business issues, strategies and risks and profitability opportunities.
  • Bring new thinking and way of doing things to the function, as appropriate, including analyzing and crafting new metrics and performance indicators to help identify trends.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and lead various other reporting projects including decision support, metrics and analytics.

What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance, and 5+ years in corporate finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance (Budgeting, Performance Reporting, and Financial analysis).
  • Modeling guru with advanced excel skills.
  • You enjoy problem solving - digging into complex and ambiguous data sets and synthesizing the “so what”s at an executive level
  • You are self-directed, thrive in ambiguous situations, and love to take charge of complex tasks with minimal direction.
  • You are excited about the opportunity to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, and to be a key partner as we scale the company.
  • Background in DTC subscription business and experience in both early stage and later stage growth companies desired.
  • You are eager to develop new ways of approaching business challenges independently and proactively.
  • Ability to implement new processes and systems; familiarity with Netsuite, SAP, Hyperion, Tableau, Looker, TM1, Adaptive Planning, BPC, etc.
  • You have excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
