We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven US Benefits Analyst II position to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who is just starting out in their US Benefits career. As a Benefits Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR and Loadsmart organization.
In this role, the Benefits Analyst will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and sharpen their knowledge of the US Benefits world by assisting US Loadies with benefits questions, conducting open enrollment, working with external providers, building relationships with senior leaders, conducting meetings with the Loadsmart population and learn from and assist the compensation team with market research and analysis. This position will also have the ability to conduct data analysis in various HR related topics and as this position continues to develop, it will have the ability to gain entry-level HR Information System skills.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit related questions and concerns and work with outside vendors and partners to ensure the best possible benefits offerings to the Loadsmart population
  • Support the Loadsmart population with new hire benefit enrollment and the annual open enrollment activities
  • Process and approve qualifying status changes and provide clear and concise communication to our loadies on the process and timing of those changes
  • Conduct benefits meetings with the loadsmart population and become the subject matter expert (SME) on all benefit offerings
  • Participate in benefit related surveys and attend virtual benefit meetings
  • Conduct year end audits and prepare various reports such as 5500, cost utilization, benefits cost analysis etc
  • Comply with government and state regulations along with any plan provisions to ensure equitable administration to Loadies
  • Assist in managing the FMLA/LOA process
  • Manage the COBRA process
  • Assist in the annual benefits plan design change and testing process
  • Investigate and resolve eligibility file issues reported by carriers
  • Work with HR and Talent Acquisition personnel on projects and day to day activities as needed
  • Assist in identifying inefficiencies and areas in need of improvement
  • Perform other duties when necessary

YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced English skills - writing and speaking
  • 2-4 years of experience administering US employee benefits
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills which include; ability to learn new systems , navigate websites and help employees with mobile apps
  • Experience with FMLA, ACA, ERISA, FSA and HSA rules and regulations
