We are looking to add a talented Vice President of Services Delivery to our team! We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate customer experience rockstar who has a strong understanding of the issues and trends facing the logistics industry.
In this role, you will lead our efforts to design and build a logistics services infrastructure to maximize customer retention and profitability, in turn allowing the Loadsmart team to deliver a consistently excellent experience to all customers. The VP of Services Delivery will collaborate with Loadsmart’s product and commercial leadership to develop, implement and grow our product and service offerings and expand the client base for SMB and/or Mid-market enterprise shippers. You will interface with our customers and our service providers to ensure that cost, quality, and delivery commitments are meeting or exceeding performance standards in the most cost-effective manner and in alignment with divisional and company business objectives.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Create new complex and high value-add logistics offerings considering industry trends and based on industry margin and cost benchmarking.
  • Collaborate and partner with commercial, product, and marketing leaders to deploy a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy.
  • Architect and lead the organizational design and divisional infrastructure to maximize customer retention, and profitability allowing the Loadsmart team to deliver a consistently excellent experience to all customers.
  • Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, and OKRs which are aligned with company OKRs.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and product management, identify and evaluate targets and growth opportunities with current and new products and services.
  • Help drive revenue growth by advising on best-in-class account planning, account management, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Stay ahead of the growth and business direction and ensure that global operations are set up for success.
  • Define and implement procedures and policies that enable high-quality service and adherence to strict SLA’s
  • Create new workflows and processes as our products, services, and solutions evolve.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and advise on improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and scale.
  • Attract, recruit, and develop high-performing talent with the appropriate skills and background to succeed.
  • Be an industry reference for logistics with an extensive professional network, generating positive media exposure.
  • Partner with other leaders and create an environment of cross-team collaboration across the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated P&L experience in a multi-modal, complex, solution-based transportation services environment
  • Extensive familiarity with the North American multimodal carrier base including FTL, drayage, and LTL; parcel and flatbed nice to have
  • Demonstrable record of innovative approaches to solution design.
  • Understanding how the business operates to better serve existing customers and to identify new opportunities.
  • Effective and proven cross-functional collaboration that drives results
  • Demonstrated program and project management skills
  • Creating project roadmaps, scopes, and timelines
  • Experience driving measurable results or key deliverables within ambitious timelines
  • Experience at a fast-paced, tech or logistics startup undergoing rapid change and growth
  • Excellent track record of successfully partnering with C-level executives
