Role: Global Client Partner
Team: Sales
Reports To: Head of Partnerships & Sales
Location: We are a remote-first company but we prioritize candidates in New York City, Chicago, D.C., Seattle, and San Francisco given the customer requirements of this role. We have office spaces available in all of our hubs.
Travel: This role will travel 1-2 times per quarter for in-person customer meetings and industry conferences. Note, Knit does US All Team, in-person company events 2x per year.

Overview & Responsibilities
The purpose of the Global Client Partner at Knit is to renew and grow existing partnerships. At its core, this role exists to ensure Knit customers are sticking with us and continuously expanding.
This role collaborates closest with Sales and Customer Success. While Sales closes net new logos and drives net new revenue, this role manages the existing relationships of customers and serves to maintain and expand their partnerships with Knit.
Post-contracting, this role collaborates with Customer Success and Product - the teams executing against the partnerships. Through collaboration, this role can always identify where the customer is getting the most value, where they have potential to churn, and proactively staying ahead of the partnership needs.
Key performance indicators for this team:
- The Partnerships & Sales team is measured on their ability to generate net new revenue, renew partnerships, and continuously grow existing ones.
- The Director of Account Management is specifically measured by:
- Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
- Renewals
- Growing existing partnerships through upselling and cross selling
Primary responsibilities of this role:
- Collaborate with Sales to transition the relationship from net new business to existing partnerships
- Collaborate with Customer Success to identify where the customer is getting the most value and how to grow and expand upon that
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with client leads, while also uncovering new opportunities to grow the relationship - both with our current customers and new business units within client organizations
- Proactively identify ways to drive value and engagement with main points of contact
- Continuously drive the partnership renewal process throughout the contracted term
Key Skills & Experiences
A successful candidate for this role has experience growing and maintaining strategic relationships with client partners at Fortune 1000 companies. This experience is important as the main responsibility for the role is to give our clients the best experience working with Knit, while uncovering new opportunities to partner.
Required skills & experiences:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the research and insights industry
- Experience autonomously owning and leading customer relationships and entering new buying centers within existing Enterprise accounts
- We are specifically looking for individuals who have supported customers at Enterprise, Fortune 500 companies, with Insights titles (including but not limited to Chief Research/Insights Officers, VP, director-level and above)
- Consistent track record of hitting sales targets
- Experience selling $100,000+ annual contracts to clients at Fortune 1000 companies
- Extremely organized with aggressive attention to detail
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, specifically with customer success, client services, and sales teams
- Sales approach with heavy lean towards discovery - running a process that is extremely thoughtful, intentional, curious and consultative
