Role & Responsibilities:

We are hiring a Principal level Product Marketer who will be responsible for our B2C launch strategy in 2024, rolling out new mobile and web experiences for professional sports teams to create exceptional experiences for their fans. This leader will report to the Chief Product Officer, and will help shape the future success of the company as the category leader in the market.

This leader will work closely with our product, design, and executive teams internally, and collaborate closely with our first sports team clients. This role entails creating an end-to-end launch plan, spanning fan education in product, fan journey mapping from legacy experiences to new ones, outbound communications and advertising campaigns, and experiential marketing in-venue to drive fan awareness and adoption of key features included in the new product launch. To ensure success, this leader will define and track OKRs related to fan awareness, feature adoption, customer migration.

Must have experience:

  • 6+ years experience in product marketing, digital marketing, and experiential marketing

  • Track record of successfully launching and growing category defining products and features for consumer web/mobile products

  • Expertise in creating and executing go to market strategies for consumer/digital brands, spanning multiple digital surfaces and communications channels.

  • Expertise in implementing and managing marketing automation tools

  • Working knowledge of web/mobile product development, social media management, and public relations

  • Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative campaign measurement

  • Strong creative sensibilities for managing asset creation and QA (visual and written)

  • Strong project management abilities for go to market planning and execution

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience in brand marketing for a category defining consumer product

  • Experience in marketing products that span digital and physical experiences

  • Experience in event marketing in sports and/or entertainment

  • Experience in launching net new products, brands, and digital/physical experiences

Compensation

Compensation is something we don’t want our candidates or employees to worry about. Our goal is to offer competitive salaries that are regularly benchmarked against the market. The core tenants of our compensation philosophy are fairness and transparency.

We have established a standardized leveling framework based on job scope and responsibilities. The compensation package for each level is standard across all roles within a department. This means that every person at a certain level is paid the same as everyone else, regardless of their background, previous compensation, location, or any other factor.

The compensation for this role is $180,000 and includes a generous equity package.
