As a Propulsion Engineering Associate, you will work on propulsion development projects while working closely with a fast-paced, agile team that strives to make a high-performance spacecraft from a clean sheet design.

Responsibilities
- Own critical aspects of propulsion component and/or system development
- Work with the design, test, and manufacturing teams to produce and validate hardware
- Ensure that the performance and function of the hardware meets intent
- Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions
- Deliver high quality hardware, analyses, and/or documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Recent completion of a degree in engineering, science or related field
- Demonstrated ability to take project ownership and work well in a small team
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with fluid or mechanical systems
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in basic principles of fluids, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics, and materials
- Familiarity with analysis programming such as MATLAB, Python, Excel, etc.
- Prior experience in hardware development and/or testing

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
