About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Halo’s dynamic and growing Annuity team. As an Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and contributing to continued growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who possesses strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for the FinTech industry. You will work with a great team to learn the business from the ground-up, and grow and expand your skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processing and Documentation: Handle and process necessary paperwork efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Business Monitoring: Monitor and track business inflow, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Communication: Engage proactively with Annuity Carrier Partners and Financial Advisors to facilitate smooth operations and address any queries or concerns.
- Data Management: Log and maintain accurate records by inputting data into Salesforce CRM, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Status Updates: Provide regular updates to sales personnel and clients regarding the progress of operations, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Information Organization: Organize and categorize information systematically, ensuring easy accessibility and retrieval when required.
- Report Compilation: Compile and generate reports on operations, performance metrics, and other relevant areas as needed by management.
- Follow-Up: Coordinate and follow-up with Annuity Carrier Partners to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to agreed-upon timelines.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the operations manager or senior leadership, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Experience and Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business admin or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in financial services and/or annuities. An individual with experience supporting a financial advisor or advisory office preferred.
- Candidates with prior experience with SalesForce and/or Excel strongly preferred.
- High level of diligence and accuracy is required to execute tasks, ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and quality standards are met.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail are a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, technologies, and regulatory changes. Keen interest in staying current on industry trends.
