About the Role: We are looking for a talented and experienced Mechatronics Engineer with a background in agriculture or industrial equipment to join our dynamic team. As a mid-level Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex robotic systems for use in the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Help design mechanical mechanisms, actuation systems, sensor feedback systems, and cables.
  • Create manufacturing drawings following industry standards and help communicate requirements to vendors.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams.
  • Work closely with Field Service Engineering, project management, and QA teams to troubleshoot, develop testing systems, and other items as needed.
  • Participating in design reviews, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mechatronics, automation, and control systems technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and development of mechatronic systems, with a focus on agricultural or industrial applications.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems, as well as automation and control systems technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, or MATLAB
  • Solid experience with CAD software for design. Solidworks is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety guidelines for agricultural or industrial mechatronic systems is preferred.
