The mission of the role:

We are seeking a ZK Proof Engineer to implement and optimize cutting-edge cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation. This role involves tackling challenging problems to make ZK accessible to smart contract developers, optimizing provers, and developing novel ZK circuits. Your work will be crucial in using ZK to create the world of attestations and shape the future of digital identity.

What you’ll be doing:

• Implement and Optimize Cryptographic Code: Develop cutting-edge cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation, ensuring high performance and security.
• Develop Novel ZK Circuits: Design and implement innovative zero-knowledge circuits to advance the state-of-the-art in ZK technology.
• Optimize Provers: Work on optimizing prover algorithms to enhance efficiency and performance, making ZK more accessible to smart contract developers.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other engineers, researchers, and product teams to integrate ZK solutions into our products and platforms.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct theoretical and practical analysis of the performance of ZK systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to Open Source: Engage with the community by contributing to open-source ZK projects and sharing your knowledge and innovations.

What we look for in you:

• Proficient in Rust/C++ with experience in low-level optimizations.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of algorithms and mathematical concepts.
• Experience in designing and developing compilers and algorithmic systems.
• Ability to read, understand, and implement ideas from academic papers.
• Experience in MPI development.
