The DFC Business Systems Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising the day to day operations of the DFC Business Analyst team in supporting our reporting and analytics platforms and implementing next generation business software solutions. Working as part of a cross-functional development team, this position will have a ground-up impact on our systems, our business, and most importantly, our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate training as needed and ensure all staff are trained to properly execute their job responsibilities
- Work with employees to provide coaching and feedback and to address any areas for improvement up to and including preparation for disciplinary action
- Apply data analysis and research skills to identify key indicators, test hypotheses and guide actions with respect to the loan transaction life cycle
- Engage with business leaders to understand objectives and continually align work with those objectives to meet the needs of the business
- Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes and solve problems at their root cause
- Generate actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards, and deep dive analyses
- Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights
- Partner with data development teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights
- Allocate resources and maintain cost efficiencies
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Expertise in relevant technologies, reporting systems and data analytics
- Experience in leading performance teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
