Divergent has invented a complete manufacturing solution to address system level challenges. The Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) is a complete software hardware solution designed to replace traditional vehicle manufacturing. To make the complex simple, it is a complete modular digital factory for complex structures. Given a set of digital requirements as input, the machine automatically computationally engineers, additively manufactures, and assembles any complex structure. The system is able to move seamlessly between manufacturing different vehicle models.
•Maintain a favorable working relationship with company employees to promote a harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximize employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
•Continual process improvement by developing operating procedures and training programs as well as implement improvements to existing procedures
•Formalize warehouse functions through writing of work instructions
•Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, make recommendations to the Sr Director of Supply chain on how to implement solutions, lead the projects to implement
•Identify bottlenecks in processes, create solutions to remediate them, execute solutions
•Create and implement value added lean concepts, metrics & practices across the department
•Establish and monitor performance metrics for packaging, receiving, and inventory control
•Provides leadership for employees through effective communications, training, and development
•Allocate resources as needed to effectively complete work in receiving, warehousing, shipping, and packaging
•Develop and manage a comprehensive process for order fulfillment by shaping expectations, creating KPIs, scorecards, and deliverables dedicated to the success of the team
•Coordinate and monitor warehouse inventory movement processes and shipping activity
•Document existing processes, identify opportunities to add efficiencies, maintain internal order administration procedures and training plans
•Develop inventory procedures for validating shortages and communicating out of stock items to the procurement team
•Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of inventory inbound and outbound covering both raw materials as well as outsourced production operations
•Manage inventory transactions, perform cycle counts and physical inventory as needed
•Arrange or rearrange warehouse equipment as needed to support business growth
•Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role
•Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
•Strong analytical and organizational skills
•Forklift experience and certification (or ability to receive certification)
•Typical warehouse equipment experience (pallet jack, dollies, scissor lift, order picker, pallet banding)
•Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary
•Experience performing transactions through an ERP system
•Moderate competency managing spreadsheets (excel) with formulas (vlookup, if/then, basic math), tables, pivot tables, conditional formatting
