Divergent has invented a complete manufacturing solution to address system level challenges. The Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) is a complete software hardware solution designed to replace traditional vehicle manufacturing. To make the complex simple, it is a complete modular digital factory for complex structures. Given a set of digital requirements as input, the machine automatically computationally engineers, additively manufactures, and assembles any complex structure. The system is able to move seamlessly between manufacturing different vehicle models.
Purpose of Role:
The Director, People Operations is responsible for all people systems and data management (HRIS, Applicant Tracking system, learning management system and performance management.
Additionally, the People Ops Director helps define all People processes and workflows, ensuring compliance to all State and Federal labor laws. This role serves as the hub at every step of the employment lifecycle, ensuring best in class execution in 100% compliance with all State and Federal labor laws. Finally, the People Ops Director ensures flawless execution of all People processes and initiatives and serves as a trusted to all employees in the company.
Essential Job Functions:
Manages all People systems configuration, management and reporting
Optimizes the company onboarding process, including compliance with all required new hire documentation (e.g., I9 verification, background checks, etc.) as well as ensuring an exceptional employee experience
In partnership with the broader People team, develops and deploys the company compensation structure, tools and process
Ensures flawless Benefits management, including broker relationship and open enrollment
Delivers on-going YOY business analysis of all People tools and processes to ensure cost and effectiveness are optimized
Manages a 100% compliant LOA management process
Ensures ADA Compliance, including interactive process and documentation
Data analytics for all People processes, including ad hoc and day to day management of the People Dashboard
Serves as a trusted advisor to the People Ops teams, employees and Managers as needed
Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace by developing and implementing initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices including State and Federal labor law
Track record of building and deploying People systems, tools and processes, including multi-dimensional organizational structures and business entities
Proven ability to successfully roll out innovative people related programs and initiatives aligned with business goals to drive employee engagement.
Exceptional relationship-building skills and the capacity to inspire and influence at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions, including an intermediate level of Excel knowledge (pivot tables, nested formulas and linked data)
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to articulate value-based solutions to complex business problems.
8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 of those years as a People Ops leader / manager.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams to resolve complex people related challenges at all levels of an organization.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with maturity and confidence in working with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
