Divergent has invented a complete manufacturing solution to address system level challenges. The Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) is a complete software hardware solution designed to replace traditional vehicle manufacturing. To make the complex simple, it is a complete modular digital factory for complex structures. Given a set of digital requirements as input, the machine automatically computationally engineers, additively manufactures, and assembles any complex structure. The system is able to move seamlessly between manufacturing different vehicle models.
•Perform various inspections on the manufacturing floor for development and production material
•Closely work with production to manage workload for receiving, in-process, and final inspection activities
•Develop inspection methods to standardize assessment of product quality
•Document results and findings after inspections are performed
•Collect, prepare and analyze data for corrective action and process improvement
•Compile and evaluate relevant quality trends for presentation to appropriate departments to recommend change
•Investigate quality concerns to identify root causes and ensure they are resolved
•Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality requirements
•Prepare and conduct first article inspection, quality test plans and other relevant reports
•Perform internal product and process audits to ensure QMS compliance
•Be an active part in brainstorming ideas to create solutions and continuously improve the processes for scale
•Support production operations and other duties as assigned to support critical business situations
•Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or 8 years of equivalent experience
•AS9100/AS9102 QMS knowledge and audit experience
•High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations
•Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Able to work efficiently in a team environment
•May be required to lift and transport up to 40 pounds
