Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software systems that enable the first platform to codify the theory of mechanical engineering.
- Design and implement new graphics functionality for a professional 3D modeling application
- Enable scaling of 3D modeling functionality in areas related to storing, transmitting, rendering massive datasets
- Meet aggressive deadlines, proactively communicating status and roadblocks
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of development experience in a commercial environment
- Experience developing complex, professional, simulation environments with C++ or Java
- Experience developing with a programmable graphics API (OpenGL 2+, DirectX, Vulkan, etc..)
- Fluent in Python
- Experience or willingness to learn TypeScript, HTML and other web development skills
- Expert-level knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Effective communication, comfortable working jointly on projects
- Self-sufficient and proactive
- Strong problem solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive industries
- Experience developing a CAD or CFD application
- Experience analyzing and optimizing application runtime performance
- Experience developing web, SAAS applications
- Experience running a team
