Responsibilities
As a Senior Sales Representative, your mission will be to forge strategic partnerships with manufacturers. You will expand our footprint with your understanding of the challenges faced by manufacturers and by businesses in adopting new technologies. You will guide prospects through the transformative potential of our solutions and help identify their desired future state.
- Identify and engage potential customers in the CAD and manufacturing sectors, utilizing various outreach strategies.
- Conduct demonstrations of the software, tailoring presentations to the specific needs of each prospective client.
- Efficiently manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales approaches and product positioning.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
- Collaborate to refine company sales infrastructure, processes, and methods.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a top-performing sales professional in the CAD, tech, or manufacturing industries, with a strong emphasis on strategic account management and business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced understanding of CAD tools, manufacturing processes, and the specific needs of industries reliant on detailed work instructions.
- Mastery in negotiation and closing high-stakes deals, with a portfolio that demonstrates significant sales achievements and long-term customer relationships.
- Leadership qualities that inspire trust and confidence in clients, showcasing the ability to navigate complex sales discussions and align our solutions with their strategic goals.
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive industries
- Experience developing a CAD application
- Working with CAD tools or understanding of manufacturing and assembly
- Prior early-stage startup experience
- Prior experience building a sales team
