Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software systems that enable the first platform to codify the theory of mechanical engineering.

• Building out and streamlining our web app infrastructure
• Ensure product is performant and data is extremely accurate and clean
• Work directly with the founders and other engineers to influence and execute the vision for the product
• Leveraging AWS to build out our APIs, data model, authorization, and other infrastructure
• Collaborating with other engineers to create a seamless integration with the computational backend
• Creating a best-in-class user experience for our prospects and customers

Requirements

• Minimum 5 year's experience in web development, preferable at least 3 years with startups
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Node, AWS (EC2, Amplify, Dynamo, S3, Lambda) and other backend tech.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with React, JS/TS, and other frontend tech
• Bachelor’s or Master in Computer Science or related field
• Track record showing dedication to high quality output and take on foreign challenges

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Three.js and other web-based 3D modeling frameworks
• Familiarity with aesthetic design principles for user facing features
• Experience developing in Python and C++
• Experience developing web, SAAS applications
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or automotive industries
• Experience running and hiring for a team
