The role: We are searching for a skilled and passionate Fullstack Developer to join our small team. You’re a good candidate if you enjoy solving complex problems, delighting users with polished experiences, and maintaining a high quality codebase that is easy and fun to work with. Some examples of features you may o work on include:

• Collaborative workflows aimed at teams and organizations
• Visualization of paper statistics (eg. by year, journal, or LLM-extracted data)
• LLM-based chat with lists of papers, and other AI-powered synthesis features
• User upload of papers

What we value:

• 4+ years working as a full stack engineer, preferably some at a startup or another fast-paced environment
• Experience in our chosen frameworks and languages - Next.js/Typescript, FastAPI/Python, Postgres
• Comfortable working with SaaS products for user auth and payment, and maintaining web analytics
• Interested in LLMs or AI applications, and have an eye for UI/UX for these applications
• Enjoy following best practices, and proactively updating and maintaining the codebase
• Collaborative team player who prioritizes decision making based on what’s best for the mission
• You care about creating a more scientifically-informed world and democratizing access to knowledge through technology

Nice to haves:

• Experience building agentic LLM-based flows

Compensation:

• $150-200k cash
