The Team You'll Work With

This role is on the People Development team, which sits within the People Team. The Senior L&D Program Manager will report into the Senior Manager, Learning & Development and work closely across the whole team. We work collaboratively across all of Carta to support 1,700+ Cartans globally.

Our work extends across onboarding, career development, team development, leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management. We build from the ground up with a focus on creating impact and programs that scale. Our goal is to be strategic and adaptive partners to the business who can deliver what Carta needs before they need it.

The Problem's You'll Solve

As a Senior L&D Program Manager you will be responsible for overall program management and execution of our strategy across the various pillars we work within. We’re looking for someone who has broad L&D experience with an emphasis on coaching, peer learning, and facilitation.

Here is what you would work on day-to-day:

  • Coaching & Relationship Building: Work closely with people managers and intact teams across the business by coaching them through learning challenges and building meaningful solutions to help them work successfully together.
  • End-to-End Program Management: Design, program manage, and execute programs based on organizational needs
  • Training & Facilitation: Design and facilitate trainings based on organizational needs

About You

You have 4+ years of L&D or relevant experience. You are excited to bring your experience in coaching, peer learning, and facilitation to a rapidly moving company. You have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Ability to program manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Masterful facilitation and instructional design skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable you to adapt to different forums and audiences
  • Coaching certification or deep coaching experience
  • Nice-to-have: certification in training assessments such as DiSC, Hogan, StrengthsFinder, etc.

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is
$122,000 - $144,000 in San Francisco.

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
