The Team You’ll Work With

The People Strategy & Projects team is made up of Project Management, Internal Communications, Executive Assistants, and People Analytics. We support the People Team’s vision to unlock the power of Cartans through leading the strategy, planning, and effective execution of cross-functional initiatives. We are big picture thinkers and detailed executors. We pride ourselves on building trusted relationships with a relentless focus on making a meaningful impact on Cartans and Carta.

The Internal Communications function collaborates with a variety of internal stakeholders. Key partners for this role include each team within the People organization as well as Marketing and the Office of the CEO.

The Problems You’ll Solve

You will drive a range of communications efforts aimed at fostering connectivity, cohesion, and community across our 1800+ Cartans globally. Leading the Internal Communications function, you will build the communications infrastructure needed for an effective flow of information and support the change management for cross-functional initiatives impacting the Cartan experience.

  • Lead in developing and executing a proactive comms strategy that highlights strategic initiatives and keeps Cartans informed, engaged, and inspired.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify communications objectives and build narratives and plans that reflect those goals.
  • Craft impactful written communications, talking points, and presentations on both a proactive and reactive basis.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar for company-wide communications.
  • Partner with Marketing on how we tell the story of Carta from the inside out through various mediums, including video, graphics, and written comms.
  • Leverage technology to personalize messages at scale to effectively address the diverse needs of our global population.

Salary

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is $140,000 - $165,000 in San Francisco and New York.
