The Team You’ll Work With

The Total Rewards team is a small, but mighty team, building and scaling all things related to compensation and benefits. Our goal is to make sure that Carta can attract, motivate, and retain the talent we need to accomplish our mission. As a Global Benefits Manager at Carta, you will use your analytical and strategic thinking along with a strong desire to do what is right to build a world class benefits program.

The Problems You’ll Solve

  • Lead the strategic design, implementation and plan administration of Carta’s global benefits offerings
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand local benefit needs and external market competitiveness of Carta’s global benefits offerings
  • Provide expertise or guidance around the design and execution of global or local programs in regions
  • Maintain in depth understanding of global benefits landscape and provide expertise in both technical aspects of benefit plan administration and market trends
  • Work with third party consultants to provide analysis and assess market competitiveness of all plans annually
  • Assist in preparing and facilitating analysis and materials for senior leadership, executive, and Board meetings
  • Partner with all People teams to educate candidates, new, current, and departing Cartans on benefits
  • Strategically develop and deliver global benefits training and communication for leaders and employees
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable country, state/territory and other regulations
  • Partner with Finance, Legal Compliance, and People Teams to implement new benefit programs
  • Act as Carta’s primary point of contact for benefit-related vendors and manage vendor relationships including vendor payment and tracking/cost control
  • Drive and execute on cross-functional projects from planning through change management
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation

About You

  • Experience leading and driving benefits programs in a multinational company
  • Advanced knowledge in benefits plan design and administration
  • Advanced experience with regulatory compliance in benefits programs
  • Ability to scale processes in a high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GoogleSheets/Excel
  • Must be able to collaborate with teams in a dynamic and globally matrixed environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build relationships with various leaders across the organization
  • Great organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong sense of urgency

    Salary

    Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. If you are located in San Francisco, California or New York, NY our minimum cash compensation salary range for this role is $157,000 - $197,000 (if applicable, + commission). Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
