Reporting to the Head of Growth, the Senior Growth Manager, Games will own end-to-end product marketing planning and execution for one or more games published by Carry1st. You will conceptualize and deliver your game’s growth plan in Africa and globally. More specifically, in this role you will…

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of a game’s product growth and marketing strategy, including strategies for User Acquisition, Creative, ASO, Community, Press, and Social
  • Develop a distinct brand identity for the game, including positioning, USPs, and brand identity
  • Drive integrated tentpole campaigns that excite and engage both African and global audiences, managing all aspects of product launches, from messaging to press and socials
  • Develop a strategic relationship with the Product team to guide the ongoing development of new in game features and live events
  • Work closely with the User Acquisition team on continuously ideating and testing the most effective advertising campaigns
  • Report and analyze key data points, generating actionable insights to inform ongoing strategy
  • At least 2 years of strategy consulting or product marketing experience in the games industry or relevant sector
  • Experience crafting and communicating multi-channel strategy and/or go-to-market plans
  • Strong communication skills, particularly leveraging slide decks and spreadsheets
  • Ambitious, hard-working, entrepreneurial, with an orientation toward complex problem-solving
  • Commercial growth mindset with a drive to achieve tangible ambitious targets
  • Demonstrated passion and understanding of mobile gaming
  • Demonstrated interest / experience in serving emerging markets
