About the Role

Capella Space is looking for an experienced leader to own and manage Capella’s technology governance, risk and control program. Capella is on a path to achieve Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and compliance with NIST 800-171. This role will be a critical leader within the technology organization managing the compliance program for much of technical “backbone” of Capella’s technology and have a large voice in how we grow and stay compliant as a company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as company-wide subject matter expert on governance, risk and controls for Capella
• Write in-depth information security policies and procedures for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) requirements (e.g. NIST RMF, CSF, DFARS, CMMC, ISO 27001)]
• Create and own single view of all Capella control requirements for each regulatory agency
• Help define and scope Capella Technology team roadmap initiatives on our path to compliance
• Serve as POC for any external agency/customer/provider seeking status on Capella’s compliance posture

Desired Skills and Experience

• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
• Understanding and previous experience implementing CMMC
• Strong knowledge and understanding of NIST 800-171 framework
• Familiarity with Space ISAC (https://s-isac.org/)
• Understanding of, and general interest in, IT / Cybersecurity industry
• Strong attention to detail
• Team-player eager to learn the IT / Cybersecurity industry and adaptable to client and business needs
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred

Compensation

$114,400 - $171,600

Salaries will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills.
