We are seeking a Senior Control Engineer with a passion for Robotics and an emphasis on Software to join our revolutionary RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) R&D team. This is a key role in a fast-growing company that significantly impacts the product’s development.

You will be joining the Robotics R&D department, specifically in the Navigation team, which is responsible for our system’s autonomous navigational abilities, which are at the heart of the product. You will take part in all aspects of the process - from studying the underlying performance requirements of the system, through the definition of the required algorithms to achieve our desired performance, their design and implementation, and then beyond, towards continuous evolving development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine the control system architecture & algorithms of our autonomous tractor
• Ensure control software meets the highest standards of the industry
• Collaborate with other teams and team members
• Stay current with advancements in control theory and software practices

Requirements:

• BSc/MA in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control systems, autonomous systems, or related fields from top universities
• 5+ years' experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in C++ and OOP concepts
• Proven hands-on experience in developing control algorithms for autonomous systems
• Strong understanding of control theory and adaptive control
• Experience with dynamic modeling of unmanned vehicles
• Strong ability to design, implement, and analyze test plans for control algorithms
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of optimizing control algorithms for various conditions

Advantages - these will bring you to our front row:

• 2+ years of ROS/ROS2 robotics development experience (C++)
• Proven experience building more than one robotic system from scratch
